A chuck roast is a thick cut of meat from the shoulder. It's rich in flavor that makes it a classic main dish for a big home-cooked meal. For tender, pull-apart meat, it should be slow cooked to allow time for the meat to soften and become juicy. Great in the crock pot with vegetables.
These chuck roasts are from our grass-fed & grass finished steer which is a male calf that was castrated at a young age. We asked for these to be 2-3 pounds but ended up with much larger portions. The good news is that leftover roast is often just as delicious and freezers well for when you need a quick and comforting meal later.
Our cows only eat grasses and forages and never receive any grains. Raised on pastures that are free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers.
Processed and packaged by a USDA inspected facility. This allows us to sell you beef from the farm. We have little control over the packaging Thank you in advance for your understanding.
