This steak comes from the top hind quarter right beneath and above the tenderloin. Very lean and flavorful, these are best grilled or broiled to medium rare.
This is a lean steak that should be 0.75" thick and has the bone-in..which can be easily cut out if you prefer it that way. Remember that grass-fed & grass-finished beef cooks about 30 percent faster than grain fed beef.
These sirloin steaks are from our grass-fed & grass finished steer which is a male calf that was castrated at a young age.
Our cows only eat grasses and forages and never receive any grains. Raised on pastures that are free of pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers.
